May I thank everyone who supported last Sunday’s benefice service in which we shared communion in thanksgiving for the Queen. [The eulogy written and read by Nick is attached below].
Thank you too for all who have visited our churches and signed the condolence books. Our churches will remain open on Monday, as always, for quiet reflection, and bells will be tolled from 10am at Bramerton and Rockland St. Mary.
All today’s services will include thanksgivings for the Queen and and prayers for our new king, the Royal Family and all who mourn at this time. The Sunday’s services (18th) are:
9:30am Harvest Festival at Claxton
11am Harvest Festival at Kirby Bedon
3:30pm Blessing of Animals in Bramerton Churchyard
6pm Commemoration Service for HM Queen Elizabeth in Rockland Church.
Please contact me if you would like any further information. Nick
