Surlingham

A packed church thoroughly enjoyed a concert by Big Sky choir conducted by Sian Croose tonight in Surlingham church.

Those of us lucky enough to be in the Ferry later were treated to an extra impromptu performance!

The FOSS Summer Fair will be held on Sunday 8th July, 12-3pm at Surlingham School.  We will have lots of games and activities, raffle , bar, refreshments, teas and cakes and a barbecue with delicious meat from the Orchard Farm shop and veggie alternatives.  We would love it if you could come along and join the fun!

We are also always delighted to accept offers of help if anyone can do an hour serving tea and cake or behind a stall it would certainly lighten the load for the few who organise the event.  (email messagefoss@gmail.com).

Some one has asked us to draw attention to the hazardous state of the boardwalk  between the gun club and the ‘stiles’ as it has got worse recently – see photo.  Does anyone know if there are any plans to do anything about this?
