Litter pick – near the Ferry next Saturday

Please can you spare an hour or two to help tidy up the area along the river by the Ferry.  If any of you have been down there recently – it is looking pretty horrid and rather lets down our village.  The organisers have all the right equipment so you just need to bring yourself. So just turn up – or contact Phil, see poster below.

Special Offers and Picnic tables…

To all the mothers out there may we wish you a Happy Mother’s day on this very commercial of days, because, of course, we all actually treat our Mothers every day… don’t we?

Either way we have a wonderful offer on. Quite simply if you spend £10 or more you can help yourself to a free bunch of Daffs and a bar of of Grapefruit and Mandarin Yare Valley Oils Soap.
But why wouldn’t you any way. We have some wonderful farm reared beef and local lamb joints (pork and chicken too) for you to be cooking away over for that special someone this weekend as well as our farm produced oils on tap and bottled and our spuds for roasting.

Our other offer is ongoing and a great idea. Quite simply a selection of any 3 of our 250ml dressing, original oil or infusion bottled all boxed up in our new fancy printed gift boxes for only £10 (RRP of each bottle is £3.95). Just see our oil station at the back of the shop.

Other treats in for this weekend include choccy brownies, seasonal veg, sausage rolls, yogurt, Norfok flour, duck and hens eggs, more choccy and ice cream, cheese, pea shoots (these are very popular at the moment, simply snip them from the punnet as you need them and use in a stir fry or salads or as a side dish), frozen Norfolk ready meals and side dishes, posh pop, applejuice, kitchen cupboard essentials, fire wood, filter coffee now only £1.50 (urn drinks £1) and much more.

And finally, we now have some picnic tables outside for you after many requests. This way you can enjoy a nibble and tea or fresh filter coffee outside whether you are walking through, stopping off on a journey, or would quite simply like to enjoy a piece of the tranquil surroundings here on our working farm.

From all of us here at the Yare Valley Farm (NR14 7AL OPEN EVERYDAY 8AM-9PM), whatever your plans are, have a wonderful weekend.
